The weekend death toll in New Brunswick rose to eight with the late night car-pedestrian mishap Sunday on the Memramcook East Road which claimed the life of 78-year-old Thomas LeBlanc of Memramcook East. Born at Memrameook East, Thomas LeBlanc was a son of the late Calixte and Rosalie (Dupuis) LeBlanc.

He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Frank Petitpas (Anita) and Mrs. Léo (Evéline), both of Dieppe, and Mrs. Léo Paul Dupuis (Florine) of Memramcook East; four sons, Emery and Emile, both of Memramcook East, Aurèle of Gardner, Mass., and Ulysse LeBlanc of Montreal; one brother, Raymond LeBlanc of Moncton; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph Saulnier of Lynn, Mass., and Mrs. Eugène Melanson of New York.

The body resting at Dupuis funeral home. The funeral mass was held in Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Church on May 14, 1975 with Father PeIlerin, assisted by Father O'Neil Ferguson from University of Moncton. Hymns sung were by Mrs. Jeannette Landry accompanied at the organ by Miss Clara Landry.

Pallbearers were Frank Petitpas, Léo LeBlanc, sons-in-law; Raymond Dupuis, Roger LeBlanc, grandchildren; Arthur Belliveau, Norman Belliveau, friends of the family. The body will be reposed in the family lot.
